The gas, brakes and speed-booster buttons finish out the controls, while the Wii controller has a motion-sensitive tilt action which steers the car. Steering is fairly easy to master and even an inexperienced gamer should be cruising along with little to no trouble in a short amount of time.

Additionally, players are able to modify some of Lightning McQueen’s features, like rims, wheels, side skirt, hood, rear bumper, spoiler and paint color with special customization features. This allows you to give Lightning a personalized touch, style and look like he’s never had before. Cars the game also features multiplayer mini-games based on Pixar’s Cars Toons, a series of animated short cartoons that are aired on the Disney Channel.

In Cars the game for Wii, there are one-liners and mild taunting scattered throughout the action, but it’s not harsh enough to give it an elevated rating.
