Currently, Sony’s Playstation 5 supply-related issue is going on and in the meantime, an official statement has been issued by Sony regarding the supply of PS5.
According to Bloomberg’s report, Sony’s CFO Hiroki Totoki has given a statement that keeping in mind the increasing demand and production status of PS5, it seems that the company will not be able to fulfill orders by 2022 due to which people can now face difficulties to buy their favorite Playstation 5.
Due to pandemic, the company is not able to produce the quantity of PS5 that is in demand, which will also have a direct effect on Sony’s brand value, because a lot of people who want to buy the PS5 but they are not getting it and even if it is being found somewhere then the price is too high and that is why people are angry with Sony.
Although the company is giving its best performance in such a situation, but the challenge is still big but now Sony is making some plans to overcome the problem of production, under which now the Playstation 5 chip redesign is being thought of. Although fans may be offended by this decision of the company, but at the moment there is no other remedy available.
However, if the PS5’s chip is changed, it will not have any effect on its performance, which is a good thing and even better is that after the changes in the design, the production will get a boost, which will have an effect on the supply.
