Will All Playstation Games Come to PC?

An investor report from Sony leaked the news that Playstation’s exclusive game Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is coming to PC. There are two parts in this document, out of which the details of Off Console have been given in one part and GAAS details have been given in the second part.

Off Console

Off Console means that now Sony will also launch almost all exclusive games of its Playstation on PC. However, many of Playstation’s exclusive games have already been released on PC which includes 5 big games.

1. Detroit: Become Human
2. Death Stranding
3. Days Gone
4. Beyond: Two Souls
5. Horizon Zero Dawn

And now Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is also going to be included in this list. The reason for Sony’s decision is ROI of more than 250% and this ROI has been achieved only by launching its exclusive Playstation games on PC. Apart from this, now Sony is also targeting new geography which includes countries like India, Russia, and China.

Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, stated that now Sony is planning to release some of its famous PlayStation franchise on mobile devices so that the company can also capture the fast-growing mobile gaming market.

GAAS (Games as a service)

Gaming companies use these terms to represent the game as a service to end-users. The Show 21 is a baseball game and in USA PlayStation stores people spend the most money on this game title and now Sony will focus more on this thing.

Sony in the future will focus more on PlayStation exclusive games that have direct connections with higher profits and to increase their ROI, Sony will also launch these exclusive titles on PC through its Off Console concept.

One good thing is that the release of these exclusive game titles will not be parallel on PC i.e. any exclusive title will be launched only on PlayStation for a few years and after that, the title will be released on PC.
