1. New Event
After the update, a brand new event will be seen in the game, which is named Moonlight Merriment. The events that come after the update are always good. After the update, you will also be able to fight with new bosses in New Island.
2. New Bosses
New bosses are definitely seen in the game after every major update of Genshin Impact. After the 2.1 update, to fight the new bosses, you will have to go to 2 new islands where you will face 3 new bosses which include Signora, Hydro Hypostasis, and Electro Oceanid.
3. New Island

After the update, the game will add 2 new islands named Watatsumi Island and Seirai Island.

After the 2.1 update, 4 brand new characters are going to be added to the game.

She is a great five-star character and she is the character of Electro Element. If you use this character, you will also be able to switch weapons.
2 Kujou Sara
She is a four-star electro element’s character, with this character’s tremendous archery, you will be able to defeat the enemies easily.
3 Sangonomiya Kokomi
The name of this character is very big but she is a powerful five-star character. She is the character of the hydra element.
4 Aloy
Currently, this character will be available only for Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, and in the Next 2.2 update, this character will be launched on PC as well.
5. Fishing
After the 2.1 update, you will also be able to do fishing in this game. Earlier also you used to go to the fish with the help of weapons and catch them, but now you will be able to sit in one place and do fishing with the help of fishing rod. A fishing event will also be added to the game soon.
