Kimi (2022) Movie Review: Steven Soderbergh’s Stylish Tech Thriller

Kimi is an American crime thriller film recently released on HBO Max. If we talk about running time, then the running time of this film is 2 hours 29 minutes. The work of directing the film Kimi has been done by Steven Soderbergh and the lead role of this film is played by an American actress Zoë Kravitz.

Zoë Kravitz has played the role of Angela Childs in this film, which is the lead character of this film. Angela is a tech worker who is leading a normal life but one day she comes to know about a crime and tries to report that crime. After reporting the crime, Angela’s life changes completely because after reporting the crime, Angela’s life is put in danger. You have to watch this movie to know who wants to harm Angela and how Angela fights with that danger.

After watching this film, we get mixed feelings because there are many good and bad things in this film. The best thing about this film is that in this film you will get to see the fast pace, due to which you will be connected to the film and you will not find the film boring.

The second feature of this film is the concept of the film. The concept of this film is very interesting, due to which this film will be able to maintain your attention from beginning to end. In the first 10 minutes itself, this film will build your interest, after which many thrilling moments present in the film will not let you get distracted.

If we talk about acting, then actress Zoë Kravitz, who is seen in the lead role of the film, has given life to the film through her acting because Zoë Kravitz has given a very good performance in this film. Apart from Zoë Kravitz, other actors present in the film have also played their roles well. Apart from acting, the BGM and production quality of the film is also good.

Along with the positive points, there are also many negative points in this film. The first negative point of this film is the story of the film because the story of this film is interesting but not original, that is, the kind of story shown in this film is similar to those stories that you have already seen in many crime thriller films.

Although Zoë Kravitz has acted very well in the film, due to which we find this film interesting, but Zoë Kravitz’s character Angela has been written in such a way due to which we are not able to feel a strong connection with Angela.

Overall this is a decent crime thriller film which you can watch without much expectation. This film cannot be seen with family as some intimate scenes are present in this film.
