The official details of PUBG Mobile’s upcoming season 17 have been revealed. Season 17 has been named Runic Power because your powers are going to increase in this season due to runic powers like Magma Wheel, Ice Wall, and Wind Shelter.
The Runic power event will also be like the ancient event that we got to see in the previous season. During this season we will get 3 rune stones in the game which includes Flame Rune, Arctic Rune, and Wind Rune and all three rune stones will give us powers like Magma Wheel, Ice Wall, and Wind Shelter.

You can choose any one of the three powers when you are in the lobby. Once you choose any power on spawn Iceland, the same power stays with you during the entire match, ie you will not be able to change the powers during the match. You can also loot rune stones during the match with other things, apart from this, there is another way to get these stones, in which you can collect rune stones by killing enemies
PUBG Mobile Wind Shelter Power
Wind shelter power can be obtained from Wind rune stone, on using it, this power makes a round wind shelter around you, which also protects you from damage from the red zone and the incoming bullets of the enemy. On using the Wind Shelter, it will protect you for 1 minute, after that it will disappear. The regeneration time of this power is 30 seconds.
You can also use the second effect of this power for boosting, in which the gun can be reloaded very fast, and with this help, you will be able to run faster.
PUBG Mobile Magma Wheel Power
The power of the Magma Wheel can be obtained from the Flame rune stone, on using it, a Wheel made of Magma will appear which travels approx 5 to 10 minters. The Magma Wheel remains visible for 30 seconds after which it dissipates and the generation time of this power is 10 seconds.
Magnam Wheel will protect you from the incoming bullet of enemies and to destroy this you will have to use approx 2 magazines of the gun. Due to being made of Magma, if the player goes near this wheel, they will start burning and this fire will remain as long as the wheel remains.
PUBG Mobile Ice Wall Power
The power of the Ice Wall can be obtained from the Arctic rune stone, on the use of which an ice wall will appear in front of you. This concept seems inspired by the Fortnite game but it is not because the Ice Wall is made of 9 ice blocks. This wall cannot be completely destroyed by a gun because only the block on which the bullet will hit will be destroyed and the other blocks will remain.
An Ice Wall will remain for 30 seconds after which it will be destroyed. The regeneration time of this ability will be 10 seconds, ie every 10 seconds you can make an ice wall.
PUBG Mobile Season 17 Runic Power Release Date
PUBG Mobile’s Runic Power mode will come with 1.2 update of the game which will be released on 12th January 2021. Runic Power Mode will be released on 12th January and it will be over on 7th March.
