PUBG PC going to be Free to Play?

In this article, we are going to talk about a game that has popularized the battle royale genre. There is no doubt that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG PC) game has increased the interest of people in this genre and that is why battle royale genre is currently the most liked category.

PUBG PC was released on 30 July 2016 and today the game is available on almost all popular gaming platforms. Despite being a paid game, people bought this game in large quantities, the only reason for which is the excellent gameplay of this game. Although still this game is paid but what if this game becomes free?

You must be aware that PUBG Mobile is a free-to-play mobile game and its popularity has spread worldwide and one of the reason behind this is that this game is free to play. Recently a news has come out that now PUBG PC is also going to follow in the footsteps of PUBG Mobile i.e. PUBG PC can also be free to play in the coming time.

In fact, recently a very big and authentic leaker PlayerIGN has tweeted on its official Twitter account that now the developers are thinking of making PUBG PC free to play as well.

They’re going to track player responses in a F2P week that’s happening next month.

Keep in mind, PUBG originally wanted to go F2P in 2019; but didn’t get the player response they wanted att from 2019’s F2P test.

According to PlayerIGN, the developers were going to make this game free-to-play in the year 2019, for which they also did a free-to-play test in 2019 but that test did not give them as good results as they were expecting. For this reason that idea was dropped for some time but now history is going to be repeated once again.

In fact, in the next month i.e. August, the free-to-play test will be done once again, which will have a duration of one week. During the free-to-play week, you will be able to play PUBG PC game for free for 1 week and if that test gives good results to the developers, then they will make PUBG PC permanently free-to-play just like PUBG Mobile.

Although this is a leak and at the moment it has not been officially confirmed but this leak has come from PlayerIGN, due to which we can definitely consider this leak. What is your opinion on this whole matter, please comment below.
