Locke and Key is a supernatural horror genre web series that was released on Netflix on 7 February 2020. Season 1 of this series was liked by the people, due to which now season 2 of the series has also been released. If we talk about the episodes, then season 2 has 10 episodes and the length of each episode is 45 to 55 minutes.
To watch season 2 of Locke and Key, it is necessary to watch season 1 as well because the story of season 2 starts from where the story of season 1 ended. If you have watched season 1 of Locke and Key then you will find season 2 is average as compared to season 1 because you will not get to see much new things in the story of season 2. The events of the season 1 story have been presented in season 2 by making some changes.
A lot of irrelevant drama has been shown in season 2 due to which the length of season 2 has become very long. When you will watch season 2, you will feel that irrelevant drama has slowed down the pace, however in the thrill part, you will get to see the pace very fast, due to which you will not be able to enjoy that thrill well.
Many twists and turns have also been shown in Season 2 but due to the weak story, we are not able to feel those twists and turns. You will be impressed by the start of season 2, but you will be disappointed as the story progresses.
If we talk about the positive points, the tone of season 2 is quite dark as compared to season 1, which was quite good, along with that, CGI and VFX have been used very well in season 2 due to which all the action scenes look very good. Despite having a lot of positive points, season 2 of Locke and Key doesn’t manage to impress us due to its weak storyline and slow pace.
Season 2 of Locke and Key is average which can be watched once for entertainment.
