Hawkeye Episode 1 and 2 Review

Amidst the hype of Spider-Man No Way Home, now another Marvel web series Hawkeye has also been released. At the moment, there is a lot of hype about Spider-Man No Way Home, due to which it seems that Marvel’s Hawkeye web series has been sidelined. However, now 2 episodes of the Hawkeye series have been released on Disney Plus. In this article, we will tell you how Clint Barton’s Hawkeye web series was and whether this web series has lived up to your expectations or not.

Although the Hawkeye web series should not be judged on the basis of the first 2 episodes, but if you have seen the Marvel’s Loki web series released this year, then in comparison of Loki, you will find the first two episodes of Hawkeye as average. Despite not having any superpower or superhuman strength, Hawkeye came to the fore as an integral part of Avengers but now another Hawkeye is being prepared in this web series named Kate Bishop. It is possible that Kate Bishop will replace Clint Barton as Hawkeye in the second phase of Avengers.

By watching the first two episodes of the series, it seems that in the beginning an attempt has been made to build up the character of Kate Bishop a bit as in the first two episodes we are also shown the childhood story of Kate Bishop. The first episode of the series also references the first Avenger film which was released in the year 2012.

When Clint Barton faces off against enemies in 2012’s Avengers, little Kate Bishop watches him fight. Kate Bishop gets inspired after seeing Barton’s fight and she also wants to become an archer like Barton.

In the first two episodes of the series, you will get to see a little bit of action, some jokes, and a storyline that will bore you a bit. In this series, some talks have been made about the old Marvel films, along with some references have also been given, due to which you must have the knowledge of old Marvel movies to watch this series.

The series depicts the master and disciple relationship between Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, which has been built up in the first two episodes. This series is based on Marvel’s Hawkeye comic book, in which the kingpin was shown as a villain, although nothing special has been told about him in this series so far.

The Hawkeye series is based on the Christmas theme, due to which you will get to see Christmas scenery in every episode of the series. Overall Hawkeye’s first 2 episodes were good and if we talk about ratings, I will give 3/5 stars rating to the first two episodes.
