Finally, the most awaited movie of 2023 Adipurush has released in theaters which people are thronging in huge numbers to watch it. The film Adipurush based on Ramayana is being shown in theaters in India as well as abroad, which is a good thing, but amidst all these good things, a bad news has also come out, and that news is that there is a controversy going on in India's neighboring country Nepal regarding Om Raut's Adipurush film. Due to the ongoing controversy regarding the film, the screening of this film has been stopped in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
If we talk about the controversy, then according to the mayor of Kathmandu and the people of Nepal, one fact shown in the movie Adipurush about mother Sita is wrong. The Mayor wants the facts to be shown correctly, otherwise, he will ban Adipurush as well as all future Indian films.
Now this question must be coming to your mind that due to which fact shown in Adipurush about mother Sita, people in Nepal are unhappy? Actually in Adipurush the birthplace of mother Sita has been called India while mother Sita was born in Nepal and for this reason, the people of Nepal are unhappy with the movie Adipurush.
Apart from Balen Shah, the mayor of Nepal's capital Kathmandu, organizations of many other political parties have also opposed the film and that they will not allow the screening of the film to start until the makers of Adipurush correct the mistake of misrepresenting the birthplace of mother Sita in the film. Now it will be interesting to see whether the makers of Adipurush will accept the demand of the people of Nepal or the people of Nepal will have to be deprived of Adipurush.
