Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake was announced at the Ubisoft Forward event this year. In which the game’s release date was also announced which was 21 January 2021 but recently the information was given by the developer team of this game that the release date of Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake has been changed and now the game will be released on 18th March 2021.

This information was given by the Twitter handle of Ubisoft India Studios, in which they announced the new release date of the game. According to the developers, they are very excited about this game and they will try to make the game as perfect as possible, due to which they will take extra time to work on the game i.e. now the game has been delayed for almost 2 months

There can be many reasons why the game is delayed because many big games are already being delayed due to COVID, an example of which is Cyberpunk 2077 game which broke the record of delay, besides many other games have also been delayed, which includes Deathloop, Dying Light 2, Far cry 6, Halo Infinite, and Rainbow Six Quarantine. Many of the game development company’s employees are working from home, due to which it takes more time to develop the games and perhaps UbiSoft is also having the same problem at the moment.

Another reason for the delay may be that the company wants to make the game as good and perfect as possible so that players can get an amazing experience and that is why the game was delayed. However, the good thing is that the game has been delayed only for 2 months, but when the game is launched, it will have a touch of India, along with that the game will be completely smooth and the gameplay experience will be outstanding because developers put extra time on the game.
