• To start the Lost in the Sands sub-quest, you have to talk to Bonifaz. After completing the conversation with Bonifaz, you have to follow the footprints from Aaru Village which will take you to the pit.
• Now you have to get down in the pit and find the clues. After finding clues, three people will be marked on your map with whom you have to talk. After talking to all three people, you have to talk to a girl standing at the entrance.
• Now you have to follow Tirzad to the area near the ruins, if you want you can use Teleport waypoint here.
• Now you have to enter the new area and explore the long corridor, after that you have to go to the other side and activate the mechanism to open the door. Now you have to defeat the enemies present in the new area.
• After defeating the enemies a blue marker will appear in your map, you have to go to that blue marker and open the door there by activating the mechanism.
• After the door is opened, a blue mark will appear once again on your map, you have to go to that blue mark and destroy the enemies on the way.
• Now you will see a lift, by activating which you have to go down. After coming down, you have to open some doors through some mechanisms, after which you will reach back to a lift. You have to activate that lift and go upwards.
• After coming up, you have to interact with the pyramid-like device present there. After interacting with the device, you have to talk to Jeht and then go down using the lift.
• After coming down, you have to talk to Jebrael, after which Tirzad will give you the Scarlet Sand Slate.
